Fulshear Chamber growing by leaps and bounds

The Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce has seen exponential growth since its inception in January of 2014. Over the last year alone, the chamber has grown from 211 members to 387. “It’s been a little bit crazy,” said Executive Assistant Amy Novell. “We have outgrown our meeting venue twice.”

The chamber hosts a breakfast meeting on the second Wednesday of every month at the Parkway Fellowship Church. Meet and greet is from 7:30-8 a.m., and breakfast is from 8-9 a.m. The event is free for members and non-members.

Among other activities, the chamber also hosts three major events per year — a St. Patrick’s Day festival and parade, a July 4 celebration and a Festival of Lights at Christmas. The events draw between 3,000 and 6,000 people.
