KW (Keller Williams) Southwest Sponsors the Parks Youth Ranch Cowboy Up Event

While Texans put away their boots after the rodeo season winds down, Keller Williams Southwest saddled up for success when they sponsored the Parks Youth Ranch Cowboy Up annual event at the George Ranch Historical Park Arena in Richmond, Texas. The event is a fundraiser with great food, fun boot-worthy dancing, silent and live auctions, crafts, and much more. Since its inauguration in 2013, the Cowboy Up event supporters have helped raise more than $500,000 in donations to fund operations of the emergency shelter for at-risk and homeless children.

The mission of the Parks Youth Ranch is to provide emergency shelter, counseling, and life changing services to at risk and homeless youth. Through strong and effective community partnerships with a sustainable financial base, the youth receiving treatment at the Parks Youth Ranch are empowered with coping skills, hope, and achievable goals and no longer at risk of being homeless.

Volunteering opportunities at Parks Youth Ranch vary from planning events, organizing community outreach activities, assisting with the administrative needs of the office, mentoring, and tutoring.
