KW Southwest Champions for Charity Recognizes East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry for
their Charitable Efforts

Keller Williams Southwest Agents are Champions for Charity and proud to recognize East Fort
Bend Human Needs Ministry as one of their many favorite Charities in Fort Bend County. The
Ministry was started by area churches over 20 years ago and their mission statement is to
provide basic human needs to the residents of East Fort Bend County.

In addition, the Ministry is supported by Tri-Cities Resale Shop, located right next door where
the public can donate and purchase used goods. All proceeds go to support the many programs
offered at the Ministry.

Last year over 11,854 families received 19,359 orders through the Food Pantry.
In addition, 19,155 children did not go hungry, 3,229 orders of food, provided by the Ministry
were distributed to 60 senior citizens at Fort Bend Senior Centers throughout the year. 2,396
people were able to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with a bountiful holiday meal, 8,679
people received fresh fruit and produce as well as other food items from monthly Food Fairs.
Over 3,800 packs of food were delivered to malnourished FBISD children to have food for the
weekend as part of the Back Pack Buddy Program. 359 children were able to celebrate their
birthday in style with a Birthday Bag.

East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry cannot exist without the generosity of people who give
their time, talent, and money to help support these programs. Keller Williams Southwest
Agents help by donating their time and efforts to raise money and awareness for this
worthwhile charity.

On May 4th, KW Southwest is sponsoring a ‘Shredding Hunger’ event at our office at 1650
Highway Six South in the parking lot from 11 am – 2 pm. Bring your items to be shredded as
well as a bag of non-perishable good to be donated to East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry.

We will also be taking donations for them as well.
If you would like to learn more about East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry please go to their
website at www.humanneeds.org or visit the Resale Shop and Food Pantry at 435 Stafford Run,
right off of Avenue E. They are always in need of donations.
