Q&A

What does Keller Williams offer its employees and clients that other large brokerages don’t?

I have been with other large brokerages over the years, and Keller Williams has helped me find a path to success in building a team of people that gives homebuyers and sellers the kind of red-carpet service we provide every day. This company has coached and trained me, while providing valuable resources when I was running into challenges as I grew in my career.

Keller Williams gives a clear workbook that puts Realtors on the path to successfully running a real estate business on their terms and at their speed. I tell people all the time that there is no wrong way to be a successful Realtor — no matter what kind of real estate you do, do it well. At Keller Williams, our Realtors represent clients to the fullest of their ability.

While working in real estate, how do you balance your personal and professional lives?

Some people say that balancing work and a personal life in real estate is impossible. However, at Keller Williams, we wholeheartedly disagree with this statement. There is a way to make this balance a reality. Something I do is create a calendar for myself that gives me boundaries for set time with family. Everyone wants to achieve success while still spending quality time with loved ones. At Keller Williams, we encourage our Realtors to find that balance.

What is the work culture like at Keller Williams?

Something I really like about working at Keller Williams is that the team really enjoys hanging out together as well, making work feel like a second family. This work culture is extremely important and something that we will never compromise on. I think this dynamic really extends to how we treat clients as well. I am so grateful that we have a team that I can count on to treat each one of our clients like the amazing people that they are.

Having great people within your organization is critical to success. How do you attract and retain quality employees?

We attract some of the best in the business because we align ourselves with partners who have like-minded goals of God, family, and business. Having a strong foundation like this enables us to help other people achieve their own big life goals, like buying or selling a home.

The housing market has changed quite dramatically during the last 12 months. Where do you see the market heading over the next year?

Given the prior year’s challenges, the housing market has been like nothing we have ever seen. However, the Audra O’Neal Team was ready to face and conquer these challenges, and we continue to serve our clients with the service they expect by winning offers for them in this market.
