Upclose Magazine: Special Agents

Your Property, Our Priority

Keller Williams Southwest Market Center (KWSW) is the largest realty office in Fort Bend County. KWSW agent Kimbra Valachovic says, “The Keller Williams mission draws agents to our Market Center… everyone wants to find that place of work/life balance.” Today, nearly 600 agents from more than 20 countries speaking 17 different languages call KWSW home.

“We are not your typical brokerage,” continues Kimbra. “With the backing of Keller Williams, our extensive combination of education, training, and technology put our agents at the top of this game. As the world changes, technology changes and laws change. You can trust that you are working with someone that is knowledgeable and has the resources available to take care of your most valuable investment: your home. In this office, agents operate in a more T.E.A.M.-like manner, operating as ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’ instead of being an office full of closed doors! This provides a richness you just can’t create as a standalone agent. It’s an approach that’s extremely beneficial to both our customers and our agents. From beginners to top producers, we all benefit from the contributions of our many resources and experts.”

KWSW makes giving back to the community that has kept them strong for more than 25 years a top priority. The KWSW Agent Leadership Council (ALC) is composed of agents selected from the office top 20%. “These agents possess leadership qualities and serve in a volunteer capacity to benefit our office and our community,” says Kimbra. “ALC members manage our community nonprofit partnerships. These partnerships include education foundations, child advocacy groups, animal shelters, and more. When an agent manages a partnership, they’re responsible for learning an organization’s needs and then communicating those needs to the office…so that our agents can get more involved on a personal level. We firmly believe that leadership is not just about a title, it’s about making the world a better place.”

On May 12th, KWSW will participate in RED Day, the Keller Williams annual international day of service. On RED Day, agents and employees around the world spend the day away from their businesses serving the community where they live. “This year, we will be all hands on deck with Fort Bend Habitat for Humanity to build a house in Richmond,” explains Kimbra. “I’ve been a part of KWSW for many years. RED Day is a wonderful, fulfilling day…and it’s always fun.”

Our local Keller Williams Southwest Market Center continues to grow each year. Agent Sapana Patel says, “If you’re thinking of a career change, think about a real estate career with KWSW!”
