The Sorangwala's Story

Last year, Aliabbas Sorangwala was ready to purchase a home for his family. “I had high expectations,” says Aliabbas. “I met with a couple of real estate guys, and I was ready to buy. They made the process so complicated, I ended up with nothing. I was so disappointed.” A family member recommended that Aliabbas contact Keller Williams Southwest (KWSW) agent Aqeel Virk.

“I started working with Aqeel about two months ago,” continues Aliabbas. “I explained what happened previously, and he told me not to worry…he would take care of everything. We are Indian, so the home would be for my mom and dad, my brother and his wife, and myself. I also recently got engaged, so my fiance will be moving into the house as well.

I explained to Aqeel that we were looking in the Richmond area because that is where many of our relatives live. It would make it easier for parties and get-togethers!” This time around, Aliabbas was impressed with the entire real estate process. “Aqeel was very good about showing us houses at the last minute,” explains Aliabbas. “We needed to fit each showing into the whole family’s schedule. Sometimes we would call Aqeel at 1pm and ask if we could see a house the same day at 4pm. Aqeel was always ready. When we found the right home, Aqeel helped us every step of the way.

He was so aggressive, which I really like. The entire process—from finding the home to closing—was completed in about 25 days.” “I’ve already recommended Aqeel to two folks I know,” says Aliabbas. “I told them don’t waste time going to others. I have personal experience with Aqeel, and he is exceptional. He took care of my first home purchase from the starting point to the ending point. Aqeel delivered on his word to me that he would take care of everything.”
